Indeed one of the best RC site, with a lot of information with meticulous details. Love the glass-top work bench.

Cheers!!

Marvelous site! This is one big goldmine of information for this balsa butcher. It should help me do better.

When making your vertical hold-downs, I am surprised that you tap the hardwood arms.
I would have used a 'garden furniture nut'.
This is shaped a bit like a top hat, with a thread through the middle, and a few spikes on the 'brim' to hold it from turning.

I will buy a few and send some photos.

Your site is getting better all the time Paul, you provide good PRACTICAL advice for modelers of all skill levels.
Since I grew up in the 40's on "U-Control" I've always tended to build more like an Abrams tank rather than like a dragonfly, but that's changing.
"A light model will fly both faster and slower than a heavy model". Don'r remember who said that but it is true.

I just discovered your site today. It's a fantastic resource for those new to R/C modelling like me. It must have taken an age to put together.

Well done and thank you!
